Using an asset-based approach and emphasizing resilience, we will discuss incorporating trauma-responsive techniques to help youth better understand their role within the context of self-determination. Basic assumptions will be questioned (question everything!), and new assessment tools will be offered (get ready) and demonstrated. Participants will leave with new strategies in order to support planning for high school and beyond as well as help students and youth manage their outcomes.
